My name is Tommy Reed! What can I say? I LOVE what
I do! This is the best job I have ever had.
I do everything myself. I do not hire out my body work,
sanding, primer, base paint etc. I do not have others
working in my shop cutting corners. EVERYTHING is
done by me! Why? Because I am so anal retentive that I
would end up re-doing the work after they went home
because I felt that it did not meet my standards. The only
people allowed in my shop? My wife and my dog!
People are always amazed at the end result with my work.
The depth of the graphics, the flawless finish, the absence
of lines due to graphics. Have you ever touched a tank or
fender and felt the lines where the graphics started and
ended? Never will you feel that with my work! That type
of finish takes time, sweat and dedication to achieve.
I used to paint in 2002 out of my garage and out of my
mind....needless to say I ended up sick and had to close up.
The worst part of this story is that I was exploding in
business when this all developed. My paint jobs were
winning against prominent painters at shows, LARGE
contracts were coming in and I was inflating my prices just
to try to slow things down!!! And then I got sick!
So here I am starting over with Reed Brothers Custom
Painting. After moving back to Arizona with my wife we
dumped a lot of money into our shop and started business
in May of 2008. I am excited about this new start as my
skills are refined, my talent polished and I am back to doing
what I love.
